About Me
With a lifelong passion for nutrition and fitness, my journey into health and wellness coaching was born out of both personal and professional experiences. After 25 years as a primary school teacher, where I saw the toll that high-pressure environments can take on wellbeing, I decided to follow my passion for health and wellness and channel my energy into helping others. I know firsthand the struggles of dealing with stress, anxiety, and physical health issues, having faced them myself.
This path led me to a deeper understanding of how our relationship with food can significantly impact our overall health. Now, I focus on guiding clients to develop a healthier relationship with food and feel confident in their bodies.
My approach delves into the psychological aspects of eating habits and body image, helping you understand and transform the underlying beliefs and patterns that shape your behaviours. It's about empowering you to make mindful choices that enhance your overall wellbeing.
As a certified Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Time Line Therapy®, and Hypnotherapy, as well as a certified NLP Coach and Mindful Nutrition Coach, I am equipped to help women overcome the mindset blocks that are holding them back from achieving their health goals.
I'm currently studying for a diploma in Culinary Medicine, which is an exciting field that explores the connection between food and health. Through my studies, I'm gaining knowledge of the impact of different nutrients and dietary patterns on specific health conditions. This training will soon allow me to provide tailored nutritional advice to my clients as part of my coaching practice.
In addition to my certifications, I have experience in coaching other professionals as part of my leadership role in education. My experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges that we face within modern life, when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Through my coaching, I not only help my clients navigate food-related challenges but together we build a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that fits seamlessly into their busy lives.
My approach to coaching emphasises not just physical health but also the mental and emotional aspects of eating and lifestyle. I recognise that these areas are deeply interconnected—transforming your relationship with food and addressing emotional eating can significantly enhance your overall wellbeing.
